The Forester’s House draws from the letters of WW1 poet Wilfred Owen, penned during his time at the front, 1917-1918. We start our journey in the Smokey cellar of the forester’s house situated under a vast blue horizon. Then, after mistaking bullets for birdsong we explore the nothingness of a frozen desert. The forester’s House is about the warmth, safety and humour of home and it’s subsequent contrast to cold, callous landscapes.
